A long thin shouldered road

Our two warrior left the hot springs early one morning. As they crested their first challenge presented in the form of a 2.6 mile long hill that they gave sweat and carbon dioxide to overcome they found a pack of four fellow bike warriors two of which were also battling their way to the great land of Vancouver. For 2 and a half days the our now six warriors laid down the undead blood of asphalt and other materials used to make roads. They were a wonderful group. Honorable warriors, they carried several kinds of cheese and a plethora of other delectable treats. With frequent stops and a high intake of human fuel (food and water) our warriors traveled many miles. As there clothing became soaked through with the sweat and blood of asphalt and car exhaust their bond grow thick. It could only be broken by a act of God striking down the faithful spring of the front derailleur. No longer being able to battle in different front gears and embarking on the most well trained and hilly section of road yet to come, our four brave warriors turned south to find a bike armory located 5 miles post. Thous their honorable bond was severed as the metal tab of the faithful derailleur spring fell in the trails and tribulations of hundreds of miles fighting the good fight. Facing the lowering sun and many miles to come our two fearless warriors set off north, encouraged and well fed.
